Preparation before sending email campaign

Before you start sending an email campaign, there are a few things you need to prepare on your dashboard at https://app.mailcamp.io. These include:

This is necessary to ensure that when you start scheduling campaign deliveries,
automations, or any activities related to reporting on your dashboard, the timing is accurate.




1. Determine your timezone location


To set up your timezone according to your current location, follow these steps:

- Go to the account page through the profile menu at the bottom of the sidebar.

- In the "My Profile" tab, there is a "Timezone" field. Please select your location.

- Save the changes.



2. Create a Mail list


A Mail list is used to store your contacts/subscribers, which will be used for sending
campaigns or setting up automations.

To create a Mail list, go to the "Lists" submenu under "Lists."


3. Add Contacts/Subscribers

After creating a Mail list, it's time to add contacts/subscribers from your customer data.



There are two methods to add contacts/subscribers to a specific Mail list:

- You can add them through the "Lists" submenu. Select the Mail list and then add contacts/subscribers.

- You can add them through the "Contacts" submenu. Select the Mail list and then add contacts/subscribers.



Additional information: You can add contacts/subscribers by manually filling out
the subscriber form one by one or importing them from a .CSV file.


4. Start an email campaign

After preparing the timezone, Mail list, and contacts, you can start sending a
campaign by accessing the "Campaigns" menu on the dashboard.
