Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra verification step when you log in to Mailcamp. After entering your email and password, you will also need a time-based code from an authenticator app.
Install an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, or another app that supports time-based one-time passwords.
Make sure your Mailcamp account is activated.
Keep your phone or authenticator device nearby while setting up 2FA.
Log in to Mailcamp.
Open the account menu in the top-right corner.
Click My profile.
Open the Two-factor authentication tab.
Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
If you cannot scan the QR code, copy the Secret key into your authenticator app manually.
Enter the code generated by your authenticator app in the Two-factor code field.
Click Enable.
After the code is verified, Mailcamp turns on 2FA for your account and shows that two-factor authentication is enabled.
Enter your Mailcamp email and password as usual.
When Mailcamp asks for a two-factor code, open your authenticator app.
Enter the current code from the app.
Click Verify to finish logging in.
Authenticator codes refresh regularly, so use the latest code shown in the app. If a code fails, wait for the next code and try again.
Go to My profile.
Open the Two-factor authentication tab.
Enter your Mailcamp password.
Enter the current code from your authenticator app.
Click Disable.
Mailcamp requires both your password and a valid two-factor code before disabling 2FA.
Check that you are entering the code for the correct Mailcamp account.
Use the newest code shown in your authenticator app.
Make sure your phone time is set automatically, because authenticator codes depend on accurate time.
If you no longer have access to your authenticator device, contact your account admin or Mailcamp support for help regaining access.
