How to analyze and export reports

If you want to analyze performance or export data in Mailcamp, it is best to think of reports in separate areas such as campaigns, automations, audiences, and account data.

How to analyze campaign reports

  • Go to Campaigns and open the campaign you want to review.
  • Use the campaign report area to review performance details such as opens, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes, and related activity.
  • Depending on the campaign data available, you may also find dedicated logs for Open log, Click log, Bounce log, and Unsubscribe log.

How to analyze automation reports

  • Open the automation you want to review.
  • Use the Insight view to understand how contacts move through the automation and how each step performs.
  • Use the Statistics, Audience, and Timeline views to inspect contact progress and recent workflow activity.

How to export audience contacts

  • Go to the audience you want to export.
  • Open the Export page for that audience.
  • Choose whether you want to export the whole audience or a specific segment.
  • Start the export and wait for the file generation process to complete before downloading it.

How to export your account data

  • Go to your account Data Export page.
  • Request a new export.
  • Mailcamp will process the export request and show its status in the export history.
  • Once the export is completed and still valid, you can download it from the history list.

Best practice when reviewing reports

  • Use campaign reports when you want email-level delivery and engagement details.
  • Use automation insight and timeline views when you want workflow-level performance and contact progression details.
  • Use audience export when you need contact data outside the app for review or backup.

Important note

  • This article should not promise a MailerLite-style dashboard export tool, comparative dashboard reporting, or UI sections such as Forms, Sites, and E-commerce reports unless those exact report views are visible in the current Mailcamp account.
