How to manage email notifications

If you want to manage email notifications in Mailcamp, it is important to distinguish between subscriber-facing emails and system or owner notifications.

Mailcamp does not currently appear to expose a single Email notifications page like some other platforms

  • Based on the current Mailcamp app flow, email notification behavior is managed in different places rather than through one dedicated Email notifications settings page.
  • You should not assume there are separate user tabs for contact notifications, activity notifications, and billing notifications unless those exact options are visible in your account UI.

Notifications you can manage at the audience level

  • In an audience setup, you can control whether Mailcamp sends a subscription confirmation email for double opt-in.
  • You can also enable or disable the final welcome email sent to a new contact after signup.
  • You can enable or disable the unsubscribe notification email sent to contacts when they leave the audience.

How to manage these audience emails

  • Open the audience you want to manage.
  • Go to the audience settings or edit form.
  • Review the subscription-related options such as Send subscription confirmation email, Send a final welcome email, and Send unsubscribe notification to contacts.
  • Save your changes after updating the options you want.

Notifications for the audience owner

  • Mailcamp also has notification flows for the audience owner when contacts subscribe or unsubscribe.
  • These owner notifications are not the same as the subscriber-facing welcome or goodbye emails.
  • If you need to manage owner notifications, check whether your environment exposes them as account-level or system-level settings.

Billing and other account notifications

  • Some account-related emails, such as subscription or export-related notifications, may be handled by Mailcamp automatically rather than through a dedicated self-service notification center.
  • If a specific notification type is not visible in your account settings, you should treat it as system-managed unless your environment provides another control for it.

  • This article should not promise a standalone Email notifications page with tabs for contact, activity, and billing notifications unless that exact settings page is visible in the current Mailcamp account UI.
