Understanding your dashboard

The dashboard is the first page you see after logging in to Mailcamp. It gives you a quick summary of account usage, campaign activity, audience growth, and recent performance so you can understand what is happening in your account without opening each section one by one.

How to open the dashboard

  • Log in to your Mailcamp account.
  • Click Dashboard in the left sidebar.

What you can see on the dashboard

Used quota

  • This section shows how much of your plan usage has already been used.
  • You can review usage for audiences, campaigns, and contacts.
  • Depending on your plan, Mailcamp may also show add-on or extra credit information here.
  • If available, click Show more to open the credit details popup.

Bounce rate summary

  • This area helps you monitor bounce trends so you can spot delivery problems early.
  • If bounce numbers rise, it is usually a sign that your audience quality or sending setup needs attention.

Campaign analytics

  • The dashboard includes a recently sent campaign selector so you can switch between campaigns.
  • When at least one campaign has been sent, Mailcamp shows a quick performance snapshot for the selected campaign.
  • If you have not sent anything yet, this area displays an empty state and encourages you to create your first campaign.

Campaign performance

  • This section visualizes performance for the selected campaign.
  • Use it to review key engagement results such as opens and clicks.
  • It becomes more useful once you start sending campaigns regularly.

Top countries by opens

  • This card shows where opens are coming from geographically for the selected campaign.
  • It helps you understand where engagement is strongest.

Audience growth

  • This section shows growth trends for your audiences.
  • You can switch between all audiences or a specific audience to narrow the view.
  • If you have not created an audience yet, Mailcamp shows an empty state with a shortcut to create one.

Top 5 and recent activity

  • The dashboard can also highlight top-performing campaigns, clicks, opens, and other recent account activity.
  • Use these widgets for a fast overview before you dig into full reports.

How to use the dashboard effectively

  • Check quota usage before creating or sending new campaigns.
  • Review bounce rate regularly so you can catch deliverability issues early.
  • Use the campaign selector to compare performance between different sends.
  • Watch audience growth to see whether your audiences are expanding or slowing down.
  • If charts look empty, create an audience or send a campaign first so Mailcamp has data to display.

Helpful tip

The dashboard is best used as a starting point. It gives you a high-level summary, while the detailed campaign, audience, and reporting pages help you investigate each metric more deeply.
